Wedding & portrait photography in Jersey City, NJ
Jersey City is one of the easiest places in the state to photograph. The waterfront gives you the Manhattan skyline behind you, the older streets give you brick, iron and texture, and the parks give you quiet green space — often within a few minutes of each other.
For couples and engagement sessions I usually plan around the last hour and a half of daylight, then stay a little past sunset for the city lights. For weddings, I work around your timeline first and fit the scenery in where it makes sense, never the other way around.
