Question 1

How do I book this session?

Accepted Answer

Submit a session request with your preferred date and details. Your request is personally reviewed, then you receive an invitation with confirmed pricing and a secure link to pay the retainer.

Question 2

How long is the session?

Accepted Answer

1 TO 1.5 HOURS OF PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE. Additional coverage can be added when you request your session.

Question 3

How many edited images do I receive?

Accepted Answer

15–20 signature, professionally color-graded images, depending on your package. Additional images from your gallery can be purchased after your selection.

Question 4

Where should we have our engagement session?

Accepted Answer

Somewhere that means something to the two of you — the neighborhood you met in, a park you walk together, downtown streets, or the waterfront. If you'd rather not decide, I'll recommend locations based on the mood, wardrobe, and the light on your date.

Question 5

Can you photograph a surprise proposal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it's planned carefully in advance. We agree on the exact timing, location, and a discreet vantage point so coverage begins before the question is asked, then continues into a short celebratory session afterward.

Question 6

What should we wear?

Accepted Answer

Two complementary looks work beautifully — one elevated, one relaxed. Solid tones and soft textures photograph best. Once your date is confirmed, you'll receive wardrobe guidance tailored to your locations and the time of day.

Question 7

Can we use these images for our save-the-dates?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Let me know at booking and I'll deliver frames with the composition and crops that print and layout well for save-the-date cards and wedding websites.

Question 8

We're awkward in front of a camera — is that a problem?

Accepted Answer

It's the reason engagement sessions exist. You'll be directed the entire time through movement, closeness, and small prompts, and by your wedding day the camera will already feel familiar.

Question 9

Can the engagement session be added to a wedding collection?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you're also booking wedding coverage, your engagement session can be folded into a custom collection quoted around your full timeline.

Question 10

What does editing include?

Accepted Answer

Every delivered image is individually color-corrected and edited for light, tone, and skin. Natural skin retouching is included; heavy body or background changes are not.

Question 11

Can I buy more edited images?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can add single images or 5- and 10-image bundles when you book, or after choosing your favorites in your private gallery. Prices are shown in the booking form and in your gallery.

Question 12

Are there travel or location fees?

Accepted Answer

Local travel is included. Locations beyond the standard service area may have a travel fee, and paid venues or studio rentals are billed separately. Any fee is listed in your quote before you pay.

Question 13

When will I receive my photos?

Accepted Answer

Previews are shared within 3–5 days. Full galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks for sessions, and 4–6 weeks for weddings and full-day events.

Question 14

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

A retainer is due at the time of booking to reserve your date: 30% when your session is more than 14 days away, 50% at 7–14 days, or the full amount within 7 days. The remaining balance is due before your gallery is delivered, and can be paid securely online through your private client portal.

Question 15

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

The retainer secures your date and is non-refundable. Sessions may be rescheduled once, at no cost, with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Weather-affected outdoor sessions are always rescheduled at no charge.
